Default Why won't Jimmy Buffett come back to PNC/Heinz?

He did one show at PNC years ago. Why truck all the way out to Star Lake? Does the city dislike a good party?

The show was at PNC Park. The way PNC handled the show, with only 2 entrances, a lot of people missed the first half of the show. I know a bunch of friends that went and it took forever to get in.

Ok but one fail is no reason to just give up. Why hasn't PNC tried to make amends by promising better service for the next concert? Or why hasn't Heinz stepped up to the plate to offer a sweeter deal in true free market fashion? Why would the City ever capitulate to Star Lake? Has the mafia gone commie? Who is calling the shots here? Leadership, please...

It could be because many people detest having to go downtown for such events and would far more likely attend something that you can actually get to like Star Lake..... More likely that PNC charges more $$$$ than Star Lake though.....

Star lake was built to maximize profit due to cheap land and it has one entrance/exit. The person who thought that was a good idea should be shot. The population density is centered around the city. It makes little sense to force the population to travel all the way out there to East Poppycock when you can bring the act to the people.

To each his own. I personally avoid the city, including the North Shore, like the plague that it is....
