    Default North Shore cleats

Question for everyone who uses the North Shore... If there was an opportunity to replace the plastic cleats with metal ones and add cleats from the water steps to the pier, would anyone be willing to donate some money to get the project going? I am not sure how much would have to be raised, but it would benefit all of us. It would also add more docking on the North Shore. Say $20 or $50? Just trying to get some thoughts from our boating community.

I would donate if it wasn't city workers doing the job. They need an outside contractor that wants to make money on the job. This way it's done correct and fast. City workers will take 2 weeks to install a few cleats and they will pull out with any weight on them. Just my .02
