    Default Fall on the Ohio

Yesterday (Friday the 13th) was a lucky day! I was able to spend four hours cruising with good friends.

The weather was absolutely perfect! CAVU as pilots say, not a cloud in the sky, low humidity, and high 70s temperatures. The river was smooth as glass, and few boats out. To top that off we had some unusual entertainment. A B-25 and P-51 flying in formation flew over several times!

We're looking forward to more cruises as the fall colors appear.

Was perfect out! The airplanes were a bonus, visiting for the event at Bowman Field. Love the sound of those engines!

Hate to say it, but we're out of the water now due to a busy NOV. Just spent some time up by Ohio River Mile Marker 0.0, where they're talking high 30's at night already. Had to bail out of there!
