    Default Power Trim

While getting ready to move the boat out of storage, I noticed that my outdrive would not go up with either the up button or the trailer up switch. It goes down fine but I get a click when attempting to raise it. I checked the battery and it was fully charged, and I had new trim limit and position switches installed recently. I noticed last season that sometimes I had to use the trailer switch to get the outdrive to raise. I read that it could be the solenoid in the power trim unit. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

Should be able to google to see how to check solenoids. But if it's clicking then it's trying to work. Check the heavy gauge wires, one should have power(battery voltage) all the time and when pressing the up button the other wire should also have battery voltage, if not the solenoid is faulty. post your results.
