Stopped there for lunch today. This was our first time there and we where very disappointed. Walked in no hostess or no one to greet you. Had to find a bar tender to ask if we were to seat ourselves. Told to sit anywhere and waitress would be over. One person at the bar and one table of 5 in the dining room. Picked a table, waitress came over for drinks and gave us this computer printed one sheet Sunday menu. This menu was extremely limited. It had about 10 things total on it. No appys, a couple of pastas and only 1 sandwich a plain burger. We overheard the other table talking about things that were not on the menu so we asked the waitress. She said it was her first day and she would have to ask.
Now the cook was roaming around the nearly empty place so she asked him. He came over and said this is the only menu to order off of but he could show us the regular menu. This menu has about 60 items and is what one would normally expect to find in a Bar/Restaurant but we were unable to order off this menu. We settled on the buffalo chicken salad. About 10 min later the waitress came over to ask what we would like on our salads ( onions, peppers, tomato, etc.). Would we have gotten lettuce only if she hadn't asked? Salad arrived with no onion, no peppers, 2 cucumber slices and chicken that was just dipped in Redhot sauce.
This was very disappointing for our first time there and doubt that we would go back. Keep in mind that this was about 1:30 Sunday, Fathers day. Why would there be a need for a limited menu, especially on the weekend. Overheard the cook talking again and got the impression the he just makes up stuff or doesn't have items based on the fact that he didn't want to make them.
Based on this experience I would not recommend this place. It is NO Better than the closed Jefferys that it replaced. Had thought about inviting friend's for a day on the boat and dinner here but not now. What a shame as it has potential.
