Kingfish Jeffersonville Installing Docks for Boaters

Sunday, February 26, 2017

We have some great news for our boaters!  While we’re blessed with an 80 mile pool above Louisville, there can never be enough good places to visit, especially when they are nearby, offer good food and cater to boaters.  We’re happy to announce that Jeffersonville’s KingFish Restaurant is completing new dock space to accommodate boaters.

KingFish management tells us that the docks are 250 feet long and run parallel to their restaurant.  There is an access point that lets out onto the City of Jeffersonville’s riverside walkway, and they plan to build a set of steps that will take you right up to their Patio bar area.

The patio bar is on the lower level of the restaurant and is actually a separate concept called “On the Rocks Patio Bar.”  It serves gourmet burgers, fresh cut fries with lots of unique homemade dipping sauces, oysters on the half shell, grilled and fried, along with a few new items for this year such as Peel-and-Eat shrimp.  Due to the obvious expense of building the docks, they will post signs and ask that the docks only be used by KingFish and On the Rocks guests.

They plan to feature live entertainment Tuesday through Sunday, opening at 5 p.m. Tuesday thru Friday, and will be open all day Saturday and Sunday.  Of course, KingFish is available for carryout or full service dining seven days a week.  What a great addition to our waterfront!

GREAT news. Dockage at this site was extremely popular before hurricane Ike took the docks out. Grateful to Kingfish!
